Shaun of the Dead meets Football Factory‍

In 2026 a deadly virus (COVID-27) arrives from China (where else?). The veterans’ Armed Forces Community who reside at Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, (next to Chelsea Football Club), know from the 2020 pandemic, that the government will resort to sacrificing pensioners first. So, with the inevitable ‘Lockdown II’ in mind, they decide to take matters into their own hands and use their military training to look after their own.

Firstly, the guys who were in the REME go to HHS Hire and steal a rotary drilling machine, (to bore into the ground for fresh water), whilst those who were in the Catering Corps go to Wilco and buy-up all the packets of Sutton Seeds to start their own allotment. Meanwhile, the former Royal Marine Commandos raid the local Boots pharmacy and stock up on everyone’s med’s. All, so that they will be self-sufficient and not have to rely on an uncaring State.

However. The one thing they couldn’t anticipate was that the virus would mutate former members of the notorious ‘Chelsea Head Hunters’, (a 1970’s, football hooligan gang) and turn them into Zombies, with a penchant for eating old soldiers. So, in preparation for the now obligatory ghoul, mob attack finale, the veterans turn their housing estate into an impregnable fort and in scenes reminiscent of the film ZULU, they use their old combat skills to repel the living dead.

Spoiler Alert: In an all-out war between cerebellum chomping, Zombies and skull splitting UK veterans, there can only be one winner and that my dear friends is a no-brainer!
